FAQs

What is freeze dried candy?

We’ve taken classic favourites like Skittles, Taffy, Jolly Ranchers, and more and put them through a freeze drier in our Alberta Health Services approved kitchen. Freeze-drying is a low temperature dehydration process that starts by freezing the candy, lowering pressure, then removing the ice. Without moisture, sticky candy becomes light and airy, gummy candy melts in your mouth, and flavour is enhanced.

Do you offer gluten free options?

We offer a variety of candy that is gluten free out of the package. While we take every precaution to avoid cross-contamination, we do freeze-dry our gluten friendly options in the same facility as our regular products. Shop Gluten Friendly.

What are your shipping options?

We ship within Alberta via Canada Post

What are you pick up options?

Local Pick up in Airdrie

Do I keep the candy in the freezer?

All of our products—yes, including the ice cream, are shelf stable after we’ve freeze dried them. There is no need to refrigerate or freeze any of our products. Keep them in the pantry instead and enjoy whenever you get a craving!

Are these edibles?

No, our products do not contain any cannabis or any other substance that wasn’t in the original candy. We simply take the original candy and freeze dry it. Nothing is added and our products are safe for all ages.

Can I eat these if I have braces or dentures?

Yes! The beauty of freeze-drying is that all the sticky mess that causes issues for braces and dentures goes away. Our candy is crunchy and fluffy, not sticky.
